I’ve been in the aquarium hobby for a good number of years now, and I can say that this inlet guard is one of the best additions to my setup. Every once in awhile you come across a product that just makes sense; simple yet effective…that’s exactly what this inlet guard is all about! It’s clear whoever designed it knew exactly what they were doing because every aspect seems well thought-out: from how easily it attaches onto your tank’s existing filtration system right down to its sturdy construction (which assures longevity), everything screams quality here. Since installing it, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in the number of fish getting too close to or stuck in the filter intake. This is particularly important for me as I have quite a few small and delicate species who are now much safer thanks to this guard. It’s also worth mentioning that despite its protective function, there’s no noticeable impact on water flow which means my tank stays just as clean! A fantastic find indeed!
