I purchased these clippers as a secret Santa gift for a co-worker in our floral shop, knowing she needed new ones. They proved so effective that my boss ordered six more pairs for the entire shop. Many of our elderly colleagues with arthritis have found these clippers lightweight and efficient for cutting through all sorts of materials. Their design is effective, and despite the packaging having an oddly ‘Lost’ show-like appearance, I’m pleased with the decision to keep them.

Our search for an effective pruner led us to these, perfect for my wife who has small hands. Despite being made of metal, these pruners are surprisingly lightweight, even lighter than our previous plastic/composite ones. The lock is conveniently accessible and easy to use, complemented by a lever action grip that enhances the ratcheting feature. Overall, these pruners exceed our expectations. They are user-friendly, durable, have very sharp blades, and are extremely lightweight. Offering great value and high quality, they have earned a 5-star rating from both my wife and me.

Having used these clippers extensively over the past few months, I am genuinely impressed. This is my first experience with ratcheting clippers, and the feature has been outstanding for handling large or dense branches. As someone with 73-year-old hands, the ease of cutting through tough limbs, such as a row of weed trees and dense patches of raspberries and blackberries, has been a relief. In a suburban area where I need to cut limbs into smaller pieces for trash bag disposal, these clippers have significantly reduced the effort needed. Previously, I used non-ratcheting Fiskars clippers, which eventually broke due to the force required for larger branches. With these new clippers, the ratcheting feature means I don’t need to apply as much force, making them a great addition to my gardening tools.

As an apartment renter with arthritis, these shears were effective for trimming vines near my parking area, though their length limited reach for higher areas. The locking clip, designed with two sides, posed some difficulty due to my arthritis, but the handle itself was notably comfortable.
