I’ve been working on getting my dog comfortable with the nail grinder. After a couple of weeks of daily treat sessions with the grinder on and off I have been able to have a calm grooming session with him. The grinder does what it is meant to, grinding down the nail allowing you to remove sharp edges or even shorten the nails. It is not too noisy and has nice features such as the guard and light. Wish me luck getting the cat on board!

I am very surprised in how quickly the package arrived! the box was a bit rough, but the inside is perfectly good! I definitely recommend!

We have a large dog who is scared of his shadow. He actually allowed (tolerated) us to grind his nails. The grinder was not loud so that was helpful in keeping him calm. His nails are very thick and difficult to cut, so it we were able to grind and round off his nails. Smoothing his nails also made his run on our hardwood floors more gentle. If you grind them indoors, just put a paper towel under his paw to catch the dust….then just pick up and throw away. Easy.

We use this on our German Shepherd. Because she is a rescue and her nails had never been trimmed, we used clippers to get a bit off first then finished with this nail grinder. The grinder is all we have needed to use since. It is pretty quiet and the light is very helpful. A few treats along the way and she was very willing to let us work on her. It seems to hold a charge well and seems sturdy. Definitely easier than clippers although it takes a little longer, but no worries about going too deep! Glad we got it and I would purchase again.

MUST get your cats a nail grinder grooming machine, as the old machine didn’t work and she didn’t groom the paws. Sadly to say that my wife is scratched by the cat while bathing for the cat. Lessons from the past, we bought the new one and it is suitable for cats and dogs(my neighbor borrow it). Has completed a nice job.

My dog kept scratching my kids when he was playing so we need this to keep those nails in line. It worked perfectly and is very durable as well.

This drimel has great power and is really light weight. Very quality feel. Big plus is comes with an extra diamond grinder. I’m a first time drimel user and it’s really pretty simple. Patients is nessasary to get your little fur baby ust to it and don’t be afraid YOUR NOT HURTING THEM. Just do a little at a time, start by dulling the sharpness of the nail and getting comfortable with how it handles. First time took me around 30 minutes to an hour because of training. Be patient and enjoy the reward of a simple tool that really works!

It was hard for us to trim our dogs nails by the past, now it becomes easier cause they are curious how this little machine works and not makes them freak out!

I was elated to find this worked well after trying others that barely did a thing. Just tried it on my two chihuahuas and our cattle dog and all three dogs nails are now much shorter and much smoother. The noise didn’t frighten them either. Our cattle dog didn’t like it and some dogs will need to be introduced to the strange sensation a little more slowly … but your dog being anxious doesn’t mean this product doesn’t do it’s job perfectly. Doing short bursts and rewarding with a treat helps! I’m really happy with this product.

I received the nail grinder and I have used it. It really didn’t disappoint me. This nail grinder is really light, a small one. I don’t feel tired when I use it. I’ve used it twice. In the past, my dog just ran away as soon as when I show the nail clipper, but this time it didn’t run away! There was no loud noise when I was working. I bought a nail grinder from other bands before. The noise is too loud for my dog. As soon as I turned on the switch, my dog ran away! I am very happy to have this nail grinder as a good helper for my dog grooming

I rescued a new dog and she was terrified of the nail grinder that I used on my Golden Retriever. I did some research and decided to purchase this based on great reviews, cost, and the promise that it was quiet it wouldn’t terrify dogs. When it arrived I charged it and was ready to test it out. Now, it isn’t silent, but it’s very quiet compared to what I was previously using on my dog (which sounded like an industrial belt sander). My girl was a little nervous at first bc she sensed I was about to do something to her paws. I turned it on and she cocked her head to the side and gently leaned it to give it a good sniff. When I touched her nail she scrambled to get away but after having my friend hold her, give her pets and treats I was able to successfully grind ALL her nails with no problem. I’ve since used the grinder with no issues all by myself. My sweet girl was only a little concerned the first time, but after she realized there was no harm and she got LOTS of love, belly rubs and treats afterwards she was totally on board for her Paw-dicures. I would definitely recommend and I’m very happy I took a chance on purchasing this product.

We used to use a dremel and this product is much easier to use. 1st off it’s cordless which is very convenient and the wheel grinds better than the sandpaper lined dremel tips. The durability seems great and is very easy to hold and maneuver. I would highly recommend this for smoothing down your dog’s nails.

I am new to using a nail grinder, but I found this nail grinder to be quite easy to use. I have used it on my puppy three times – she is small (20 lbs.) and very anxious – so I have only used the low speed setting. I only trim one paw at a time – only spending a few seconds on each nail. I found it easier to remove the guard protector because the noise that my dog’s nail made when it came in contact with it was making my dog even more anxious. With that said – I am especially careful to only grind for a second or two at a time (according to the easy to follow instructions that were enclosed). The motor is on the quiet side, but definitely makes noise.

A very cool thing-it does not really work noisy, the claw is inserted into the compartment-even if it turns, nobody gets hurt. And signs very clearly and well! Very happy with the purchase

I’ve always been a little afraid of trimming my dogs nails for fear of cutting too short. I have 2 small dogs and their nails grow fast, so I finally decided it was time to learn because paying to have them trimmed so frequently was too expensive. This grinder came with information on how to trim the nail which made me feel more confident. The grinder worked great and it was my first time using it. I was able to use by myself without having someone else hold my dogs. Both of my dogs did really well with the grinder. I allowed them to get adjusted to the sound first and rewarded them with treats throughout the process. The wiggled a bit at times, but overall stayed still and allowed me to trim. I love how quiet the grinder is. Highly recommend!

I wanted to wait a bit before I posted my review. I have 3 dogs, and I wanted to try it on all of them at least once. I have 2 small yorkie dogs and then a large pit bull. The two smaller dogs were pretty easy to manage, their nails fit in the slot pretty good, and they were not really freaked out by the noise of the grinder. It scared them at first, but they were good after that. My big pit was a bit different. He’s never had his nails worked on before, I should say first of all. At first he got very freaked out, but that was mainly by the grinding feel, not anything to do with the device. His nails are huge, so didn’t fit in there so much at first, but after a few minutes, they were fine. The noise was a bit loud for him, but other than that, the grinder did what it was supposed to do. Since it was his first time, I didn’t want to spend a long amount of time on him, thought I would ease him into it. But the grinder seems to work well, and I hope it stands up to the test of time.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt this one warranted one! I have a 6 year old mini dachshund and trimming nails has always been rough!! Screaming and biting (from the dog). I’ve tried other nail grinders and she was terrified of them. I came across this one and thought I’d give it a try. It took only 5 minutes to do ALL FOUR paws! She held perfectly still and didn’t fight me a single bit!! She even wagged her tail when we were done!! Hallelujah I think we found the tool for us!!!

Wow!!! I have had 3 dog nail grinders in the past. This one beats all of them by far!! It it very quiet on both settings, which is great, especially for skittish pups. It is sooo fast! I have 3 dogs and it would take several minutes per dog, about 30 minutes total. Not with this one. All 3 were done in less than 10 and they were much shorter and looked better than when using the other grinders. It also didn’t get nearly as hot as the other ones do. I am very impressed. The packaging is nice. It has everything you need. I would definitely recommend this grinder to any dog owners!
