I adore this compact pump! It’s incredibly user-friendly and highly portable. I’ve managed to store 4 ounces daily by using it to collect milk from the breast my 3-week-old isn’t nursing on. I have a deep appreciation for this product. I used it with my first child, and it was the most helpful pump I’ve ever used. In fact, I bought another one for my second child. It has prevented engorgement and effectively collects any milk leaks. It’s straightforward to use and attach, especially when my baby is nursing on one side, and the other begins to leak – simply attach the Haakaa, and it will catch any spills, which is fantastic.

It’s perfect for catching letdown on the breast that the baby isn’t actively nursing on. You can either fold it back and place it on the breast to collect milk passively, or you can gently squeeze it upon placement to create a small amount of suction, expediting milk collection.

If you’re looking to gradually build up a breast milk stash, this is the way to go. In the first month of my baby’s life, I stored almost 900 ounces solely by using the Haakaa to catch letdowns. The suction is adjustable; simply squeeze harder to increase the suction power. The suction cup is a real lifesaver when you need to set it down on the counter (because we all know how precious spilled milk can be)! I wholeheartedly recommend it, a perfect 10/10.
