I bought the 2-pack so my cats could have a choice between a gray carp/trout(?) and a brightly colored orange clownfish. They're cute and the outer covering is soft. I charged them with the included USB cords (one for each fish, but no plugs), turned them on, and they work as described - but they only flop around for about 15 seconds before stopping. A light tap starts them up again for another 15 seconds. I don't think the sound is too loud, as some have said. The only issue is that neither of my cats is impressed. They love the swimming fish games on my iPad, so I thought these would be a hit. Their interest lasted about 5 minutes the first time, about 3 months ago. I even tried rubbing potent catnip on them, but no luck. My cats prefer fetch with pompoms and woolen balls, and chasing feathers on interactive wand toys.

Bought this for our 1-year-old Shiba, and he loves it. He plays with it all day, on and off, and loves to carry it around the house. He puts it in the windowsill, on the couch, in his bed. The battery lasts a long time too; it can go days without charging. Our Shiba loves it so much he'll try to take it off the charger if we don't put it high enough out of reach. 10/10 recommend!

The plush part seems professionally made, including the zipper. The printed design looks like a real fish, and the realistic flopping action is quite lifelike. It flops for 10-15 seconds when tapped, kicked, or dropped, then stops until it's nudged again. There's an on-off switch for when it's not in use. I love that it's USB rechargeable, no need for batteries.

I have two cats. One plays with any toy I buy, turning all sorts of things like straws, plastic spoons, ribbons, etc., into toys. The other doesn't play with anything. I took a chance on the electric floppy fish cat toy. She stared at it at first, then pounced on it and wouldn't let go. She carries it around and won't let our other cat have it. I'm glad she finally found a toy she really likes and keeps her busy.

This is a great little toy, and the price was right too. I just wish my cat liked it as much as I do. I charged it, put it on the floor, and my cat immediately went to inspect it. She activated the tail after about a minute, but after the 20-second flopping cycle, she walked away. Apparently, she wasn't impressed. Oh well, it's a cat, what can you expect?

My 10lb Morkie loves this toy! It has a felt-type covering like small blankets and she hasn't punctured it yet. The charger lets me charge it when it stops - the charger turns red when everything is connected correctly. The off button is in the upward position, and all of this is inside a zippered compartment that's well sewn.

Luna Pickett

My dog loves this toy, and it's so funny watching her play with it. The first one lasted a few months before she chewed through the tail. It's worth getting a new one, even if it doesn't last long, because we laugh so much.

I wanted something to keep the cats busy. These flopping fish are the perfect toy. The cats absolutely love them. They're rechargeable, which is really nice, and they turn off when the cats aren't playing with them.

Juno Bradford

Oh my, these are so adorable and so much fun for the cats and for us watching them play. Totally worth it. The colors are bright, the material is soft & thick, and they move a lot. Worth every penny.

Atticus Monroe

The cats drag this all over and love it. The first one seemed more floppy and fighty. The second one is softer and not as aggressive.

★★★★☆

It's exactly as described, but my cat just won't touch it. She's really laid back and not much of a hunter, so this toy isn't for her. The only downside is that it makes a mechanical noise when it flips, which I think scares my cat.

Xander Hawthorne

Our cat loves this toy. It was a great buy.

Margot Sterling

My cat goes wild whenever she's near this thing.

Milo Barnett

My kitty loves them. He uses one as a pillow, which is really funny to see.

Thea York

Cute floppy fish, bought 3 times for friends and my little dog loves them.

Jude Emerson

The fish is skinnier than I expected, but overall it's a great product.

Ayla Knight

My cat loves it. Definitely worth the money.

Ezra Dalton

The cat sits on it, plays with it, then jumps away, scampering around, totally spooked by this realistic-looking fish! It's a delight to watch!

Daxton Sinclair

It's sturdy and I'm sure it will last. Very happy with the price. Highly recommend it.

Orion Vance

One of my cat's favorite toys - he picks it up and carries it around when he wants to play!

Esme Collier

These keep the cats entertained until they get bored, but they do come back to play with them later. So, it's another toy added to their collection.

Jasper Fields

This is the second 'floppity fish' I've bought. The cats are obsessed with it!

Ophelia Mars

I know these are meant for cats but I thought they were hilarious and got a couple for my twin toddlers. They absolutely love them! We all had a good laugh.

Finley Hollis

Good product. It needs to be touched every 15-20 seconds to make it move.

Ivy Blackwell

The quality of the toy is pretty great. It charges via USB, and the charge lasts. My bottom line is, give it a try. Your cats might love it, or they might just hit it occasionally, like mine. But I'm going to put some fresh catnip on it and see what happens.
